A garden cake for a fantastic gardener! Everything is edible, of course! Even the 'dirt!' Squash, onions, tomatoes, peas, carrots and cucumbers. Those are straight from his garden! Happy Birthday, Ken!
Steve's mom was so cute. She just asked me if she heard me right and it was a friend who made Steve's retirement cake. I said yes. So she asked if you could to his dad's. I wish I had taken a pic of their face when they saw it. His garden is his pride and joy. His parents still tell friends about it. And there were a lot of people at the open house. All Mikele wanted was a tomato. :)
That's soooo cool, Tulsi! And they were both so sweet and called me to thank me. I was so very happy that it made their day so special! I wish I'd seen their faces, but I'll just imagine it!!!
